1938 Rolls-Royce Phantom III

The purpose of these pages is to document the restoration and ownership experience of 3DL170, a 1938 Hooper bodied, 6 light limousine Phantom III (40/50 HP).  These pages are mainly for my archives, but perhaps they will be interesting and/or useful to someone else as well.  If you have any comments/encouragements, feel free to send me an email at matt@mattboyd.org.

What is a Phantom III? (this page to be written eventually, but for now, consider the fact that this model produced from 1935-1938 is the only automobile V12 engine the company produced until 1998).

What is the goal of the restoration?
